Domestic Violence Stabbing, Crash Investigated In Rio Nido: CHP
Three people suffered major injuries in a crash that happened shortly after a 911 caller reported a stabbing at the residence in question.

RIO NIDO, CA — The California Highway Patrol and the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office are investigating a stabbing Tuesday night in Rio Nido and a subsequent vehicle crash that caused major injuries to three people.
A woman stabbed a man at a Rio Nido residence on Rio Nido Road around 9:30 p.m., and someone in the residence called 911 and hung up, CHP Officer David deRutte said.
Sheriff's deputies responded to the residence minutes later but no one was home, deRutte said.

A woman who had been sleeping during the alleged domestic violence drove east on River Road toward a hospital in Santa Rosa in a 2000 Acura MDX, deRutte said.
The vehicle drove off the road at Woolsey Road and hit a tree. A male and female passenger were ejected and the female driver was extricated from the vehicle, deRutte said. The three were all allegedly very intoxicated, he said.
