SONOMA COUNTY, CA — The California Highway Patrol is seeking a Santa Rosa man who allegedly fled after a hit-and-run crash that injured a female passenger in his vehicle late Tuesday night. Skylar Storm Sachse, 21, was driving a 1995 Dodge Neon sedan east on River Road near Odd Fellows Park Road east of Guerneville when he struck two sections of a guardrail around 11:30 p.m., CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.
Sachse fled the scene, leaving an injured 17-year-old girl in the vehicle. She suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center.
CHP investigators determined Sachse was drinking alcohol before the crash. Sachse is a known gang member who is on felony probation for weapons violations, Sloat said.
