Gas Leak Prompts Evacuations In Healdsburg
The Healdsburg police and fire departments called for the precautionary evacuation of residents along two streets.

HEALDSBURG, CA — A gas leak Thursday in Healdsburg prompted authorities to call for a precautionary evacuation of multiple residences near the Healdsburg Ridge Open Space Preserve.
As of 2:15 p.m., the Healdsburg Police Department and the Healdsburg Fire Department were on the scene of the gas leak and requested the precautionary evacuation of residents on Equestrian Gap and six houses along the west side of Saddle Draw with the street numbers 1703, 1705, 1707, 1709, 1711 and 1713.
The evacuations were lifted shortly before 3 p.m. and residents were told it was safe to return to their homes.
