Golden Retrievers Rescued From Russian River
North Bay Animal Services came to their rescue when they got stranded in the water.

HEALDSBURG, CA — Two golden retrievers were doggone lucky to be rescued and then reunited with their owners, North Bay Animal Services said in a recent social media post.
When two canine pals named Rascal and Remi became stranded March 9 on the Russian River, animal control officers with North Bay Animal Services received a call about their predicament and rushed to their rescue.
The water current was so strong the owners of the two pooches were not able to get to them.

"With the help of our animal control officers, Rascal and Remi are now warm and happy to be back with their owners," North Bay Animals Service said. "Thank you to all the bystanders who stopped to help! We love happy endings!"
