Healdsburg 4th of July Fireworks: Road Closures, Viewing Areas
See a map of where to watch the fireworks show and which city streets to avoid.
HEALDSBURG, CA —Healdsburg's American Legion Independence Day Fireworks are set to take place at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 4.
The city of Healdsburg announced the following road closures to accommodate the fireworks:
- University Avenue, from Badger Street to Monte Vista Avenue
- Sanns Lane, from University Avenue to Harold Lane
The road closures (shown in the map below) are in effect from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. or until the roadways are clear.

Where To Watch The Fireworks
Because of the size of this year's show and to ensure spectator safety, viewing at the Healdsburg High School sports fields will not be available again this year, city officials said.

Viewing areas are shown in the map above and include:
- Fitch Mountain Elementary School Campus, 520 Monte Vista Ave.
- West side of Healdsburg High School in the parking lot area
- University Avenue from Badger Street to Monte Vista Avenue
- Sanns Lane from University Avenue to Harold Lane
- Throughout other points in the City. Most of the fireworks will be visible 200 feet in the air and higher so look for places that provide a good view of the sky above the high school.
The fireworks show is brought to the community by the American Legion, the Healdsburg Tourism Improvement District and the City of Healdsburg Community Services Department.
