Healdsburg Animal Shelter Update Set for Sept. 12
Monthly public forum to give status on new building, lawsuit.

After a break over the summer, s will restart their monthly public forums with a gathering at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the new shelter building on Westside Road.
"It should be a very productive meeting," said Board Co-chair Bill Anderson. Anderson said the start time has been moved from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to allow people more time to get there after work.

Other potential issues to be addressed are a financial audit of the new building's budget and a pending lawsuit the shelter has filed against the concrete slab floor construction contractors.
