A man died when he crashed his motorcycle in Sonoma County near Windsor Monday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision near the intersection of Sweetwater Springs Road and Westside Road was reported at 4:51 p.m.

The man crashed his 1988 red BMW motorcycle and was severely injured. Rescue workers performed CPR on the man and tried to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. A coroner was called at 5:09 p.m.
According to the Press Democrat, the man was a 45-year-old Healdsburg resident.
