Healdsburg Man Killed In Rollover Crash Leaves Behind Young Son
The 25-year-old died when his Toyota Tacoma pickup truck went off the highway.
HEALDSBURG, CA — A Healdsburg man was identified Monday by the Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner's Office as the driver who died in a crash Thursday on U.S. Highway 101 in Healdsburg.
Samuel Williams, 25, was driving a Toyota Tacoma around 3 p.m. Thursday in the slow lane just north of Westside Road when for reasons not yet determined, his truck veered off the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The truck rolled down an embankment before it came to rest.

Williams was still inside the truck when emergency personnel arrived.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The CHP said Williams was not going over the speed limit at the time of the crash.
Samuel "Sam" Marcel Paul Williams
His full name was Samuel "Sam" Marcel Paul Williams and he had a young son, Leonardo "Leo" Williams, according to a memorial webpage set up in memory of Sam.
By Monday afternoon, at least $2,400 in donations were made via the site.
"We know that Sam loved Leo more than anything in this world," Darnell Williams wrote. "Your contribution will go toward a college fund, or whatever Leo and his family feel would best honor Sam, and support Leo when he is grown."
A celebration of life is tentatively planned for Friday, May 17.
