Lake Sonoma Steelhead Festival Slated Saturday Rain Or Shine
Admission is free and shuttles are offered to and from the one-day event honoring the annual Steelhead trout migration.

GEYSERVILLE, CA — The Lake Sonoma Steelhead Festival returns Saturday for its 15th year.
The festival is considered California's premier event honoring the annual Steelhead migration. It takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 10, at the Milt Brandt Visitor Center grounds at Lake Sonoma, 3288 Skaggs Springs Road, Geyserville. The event is rain or shine, organizers said this week.
This year's celebration has a variety of activities for all age groups, with a focus on environmental stewardship, preservation of natural resources and protection of threatened and endangered species.

Festival-goers can check out exhibits from local community organizations and businesses including the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Sonoma Water, CAL FIRE and Sonoma County Bowmen.

SoloRio will provide live musical entertainment, and the ever-popular bubble shows by Bubblesmith are set to make a triumphant return. A variety of food trucks will be available on-site, with Bear Republic Brewing and the Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley offering beer and wine selections to support the Friends of Lake Sonoma.

The event is free but attendees can purchase food and beverages. Organizers recommend visitors bring their refillable water bottles.
Shuttle services are provided to and from overflow parking lots.
This event is hosted by the Friends of Lake Sonoma, in collaboration with Sonoma Water, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the California Department of Fish & Wildlife. Additional sponsorship comes from the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, Brandt Insurance, Healdsburg Running Club, Lake Sonoma Marina, Redwood Credit Union, Russian River Watershed Association, Sonoma Clean Power, Sonoma County Winegrowers, Westec Tank & Equipment Co., and the Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley.
