Move-In Nears for Post-Fire Prefab

A year after their Steve and Gail Ryan are almost done with the rebuilding process.

But this time, used by their former home.

The Ryans purchased their home through Healdsburg construction contractor Frank Unciano, a sales rep for Pacific Modern Homes. It was shipped in pre-built panels to Healdsburg.

Along with at least three other prefabs built by Vallejo-based Blu homes -- including the -- Healdsburg has turned into a minor prefab sub-colony.
