Top Tent Chef: The Unexpected Next Step Of A Celebrated Chef In Healdsburg (patch.com) — A beloved Healdsburg chef is back in action with an outdoor kitchen on Front Street, serving hyper-local Yucatán-inspired dishes beside Emmitt-Scorsone Winegrowers. Mateo Granados, formerly of Mateo’s Cocina Latina and Dry Creek Kitchen, now cooks under a tent using ingredients from his Dry Creek Road farm and nearby producers. County library to receive $10,000 gift from Carnegie Corporation (thecommunityvoice.com) — Healdsburg’s historic Carnegie library building, now home to the Healdsburg Museum and Historical Society, is set to receive a $10,000 gift in January 2026 from the Carnegie Corporation of New York. The grant will support its role as a local history museum and public research library, honoring the town’s long-standing commitment to learning and civic life.

With Natalie Rogers exiting and James Gore already out, Assemblymember Damon Connolly currently faces no major Democratic opposition, though the filing window leaves time for new contenders.
   

5. 17 people arrested for shoplifting in Santa Rosa retail theft crackdown (pressdemocrat.com) — Healdsburg residents should know their local police joined a major multi-agency retail theft crackdown in Santa Rosa that led to 17 arrests in one day.
