Pea-Sized Hail Driven By 55 MPH Wind: Healdsburg, Guerneville, More
See peak wind gusts around the region: more than a dozen sites topped hurricane-force winds.

HEALDSBURG — Hurricane-force wind gusts have been recorded at more than a dozen locations across the Bay Area over the past 12 hours, the National Weather Service reports. Some residents of the North Bay were also in the path of pea-sized hail driven by winds up to 55 miles per hours. (Note: the special weather statement has been extended to 2:30 p.m.)

The highest wind gust was recorded at Funt Ranch, at 88 mph.
Mt. Umunhum in Santa Clara County had a peak gust of 81.
Mt. Diablo, in the East Bay, was 75, still above the threshold of 72 mph to be considered hurricane-force.
