Purchase Finalized for Grant Street Village Townhouses
Construction, rehab to start soon on unfinished units.
D.R. Horton, one of the largest homebuilders in the nation, has closed escrow on its purchase of the stalled project in Healdsburg.
Steve Reilly, a consultant to D.R. Horton, said the sale was completed last week.

"Construction will start immediately," said Reilly, of the Bay Area division of Land Advisors Organization. "The units that are partially built were not constructed properly to mitigate for the sound, so D.R. Horton is going to start on those units and replace the windows to better insulate the units from noise.
"They will probably have units ready to sell in the latter part of this year," he said.
