Sonoma County Teen Arrested for Burglarizing High School
The suspect, who was apprehended after a foot pursuit, had Casa Grande High property in his possession, police say.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- A local juvenile has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a Petaluma high school, police say.
At about 12:27 am on Jan. 16, Petaluma police officers were dispatched to Casa Grande High School in response to a burglary alarm.
The officers arriving on scene observed an open window to a school building, and while checking the building's perimeter, they encountered a suspect, who took off running when he saw the police.

After a short foot pursuit, the male juvenile was taken into custody. The suspect was found to be in possession of items belonging to the school. although the PPD has not indicated what exactly was taken.
The juvenile, a Petaluma resident whose name has not been released, was later transported to Juvenile Hall.
