Suspect In Larkfield Burglaries Had A Lot Of Booty

Detectives found iPads, iPhones, laptop computers, an Xbox, firearm, alcohol, medications, jewelry, clothing when they searched a local home

SONOMA COUNTY - The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Santa Rosa area man Thursday on suspicion of committing several residential burglaries since August, a sheriff’s sergeant said.

Some of the eight burglaries in the Larkfield area north of Santa Rosa happened while the residents were sleeping, and during two of them, the suspect fled when confronted by the occupants, Sgt. Cecil Focha said.

Sheriff’s detectives believe Zachary Michael Wright, 23, of Larkfield, is responsible for all the burglaries, naming him a serial burglar in a Nixle release.

He is being held under $600,000 bail in the Sonoma County Jail and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday afternoon in Sonoma County Superior Court, Focha said.
