Teen Seriously Injured In Healdsburg Stabbing: Police

The victim, a 16-year-old boy, called the Healdsburg Police Department and reported he'd just been stabbed, police said.

HEALDSBURG, CA — A 16-year-old boy was stabbed Sunday night near a skate park in Healdsburg, police said.

The stabbing victim called the Healdsburg Police Department around 10:30 p.m. Sunday to report he was stabbed on the Foss Creek Pathway behind the Carson Warner Memorial Skate Park, police said in a news release.

Officers responded and found the boy suffering from stab wounds to his back. He was rushed to a hospital.

The victim suffered serious injuries but is expected to recover, police said.

An investigation was underway into what led to the stabbing and who else was involved.
