West Sacramento Man ID'd In Fatal Sonoma Co. Box Truck Crash
The fatality involving only the truck was reported at about 6 a.m. Saturday on state Highway 1 in the Timber Cove area.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A West Sacramento man died in a solo vehicle crash in the Timber Cove area of Sonoma County on Saturday morning, California Highway Patrol officials said. The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office identified the man as 43-year-old Joshua David Lopez.
CHP officers responded around 6 a.m. to the crash on state Highway 1 near the Woodside Campground. Fire department personnel found a 40-foot box truck had run off the road and struck a tree, CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.
Despite life-saving efforts, Lopez died at the scene, Sloat said.

Responders contained a 10-15-gallon fuel spill at the crash site, CHP officials said.
