SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Two people who died in a crash last week on River Road in the Fulton area were identified Thursday by the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office as Javad Trew, a 42-year-old Windsor man, and Amanda Trew, a 33-year-old Windsor woman.
Emergency personnel with the California Highway Patrol and Sonoma County Fire District responded shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, to River Road west of Laughlin Road/Woolsey Road and found a Chevy Trailblazer SUV off the roadway on its side.
Javad and Amanda — a married couple — were in the car and were both pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP Santa Rosa Office said.

Preliminary investigation indicated the Trailblazer was traveling east on River Road when for reasons still under investigation, the SUV drifted off the right side of the roadway where it collided with a tree and came to rest on its side, according to the CHP.
The CHP did not immediately believe any other cars were involved and there were no witnesses, the CHP said at the time.
Patch is waiting to hear back from the CHP about whether there have been any developments in the crash investigation.
