Hermosa Beach Looking to Add More Beach Volleyball Nets
The city will consider those requests at a special meeting Thursday.

Hermosa Beach, CA — Just before the beach volley tournament season in Hermosa Beach, the city is considering adding more courts for weekend players.
The city will consider those requests at the Parks, Recreation and Community Resources Advisory Commission special meeting Thursday. City staff recommended to add more five more courts to a section of the beach near downtown.
The city currently has 71 courts and the five additional courts will be in the commercial area.

The commission will also consider allowing outside companies to sponsor nets, replacing the Bud Light ads that are currently only because of the number of youth tournaments in the summer.
The special hearing begins at 7 p.m. at Hermosa Beach City Hall.
