Hermosa Beach School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, More

HERMOSA BEACH, CA — The first day of school in Hermosa Beach is August 23 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Hermosa Beach School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/1 - 11/2: Parent Teacher Conferences
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/19 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/22: No School (Winter Recess)

April

• 4/1 - 4/5: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/21: Last Day of School
