Since Hermosa Beach ranks as a hot spot for the single and rich, Patch lists the best happy hours in town where you can flirt a little. Plus, add to our list in the comments below.

Each week, Hermosa Beach Patch publishes a roundup of local happy hours and drink specials. Since CNNMoney this year named , here are three happy hour happenings where local singles like to get their flirt on:

Sangria, 'the bomb hot spot'

The woman known for her matchmaking expertise, Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker star Patti Stanger, on Twitter once dubbed as a "great single manspotting place...Sangria is the bomb hot spot."

Ever since, local singles have flocked to the Pier Plaza restaurant's half-price happy hour events from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, during which all appetizers, house wine, and beer are served at half price—but the flirting is free.

Plus, the venue hosts a late-night happy hour on Thursdays from 9 to 10:30 p.m., during which all appetizers, house wine, beer and mixed libations (excluding premiums) are served at half price.

The Bottle Inn wine tasting

Hermosa Beach Patch readers last year selected as runner-up for for drinks. While the restaurant does not host your typical happy hour, it does organize "thirsty Thursdays."

The Thursday wine-tasting events are $10 per person and include Artisan cheeses, grapes, home made breads, crackers, dried fruits and nuts. "If you stay for full dinners there is no charge for the tasting," according to the restaurant's website.

Baja Sharkeez

Any Hermosa Beach bar-hopper will tell you, is the place to be for harmless, no-strings-attached fun. Former Patch columnist Danielle Lenglet , "The place has the feel of a real-life Match.com. Men scope women in the room and visa versa, all of them waiting for the right moment to approach."

Monday through Friday, from 3 to 7 p.m., the Pier Plaza spot offers two drinks for the price one, according to its website, which says "any drink, any size."
