Police Blotter: CVS Makeup Theft

A woman gets away with hundreds of dollars of makeup, and police investigate a fraudulent bank charges report. Here's a quick summary of the recent crime:

Shoplifting at CVS

We're not sure if she was ready for her closeup, but police have obtained surveillance images of a woman who allegedly stole makeup from the store on PCH.

The woman fled in a black four-door Honda or Toyota vehicle with about $422.14 worth of CoverGirl makeup Tuesday, Feb. 1, around 12:30 p.m., according to police.

Gas Station Charges Case

A woman accused the Arco on PCH of making fraudulent charges to her bank account Thursday, Jan. 27. She filed a report with police around 7 p.m., claiming that the charges were unauthorized.
