Trial Date Change in Macpherson Oil Suit
The trial date in the 13-year contract dispute between city, oil company reset to April 4.
The trial date has been pushed back in the multimillion-dollar lawsuit that Macpherson Oil Co. brought against the city of Hermosa Beach over an oil-drilling project.
"Due to an illness in the family of one of the attorneys, the judge has granted a continuance in the trial in the lawsuit," according to a statement from City Manager Steve Burrell's office.
The trial to begin Jan. 18.
