MetroLink to Discuss Pollution Problems in Cypress Park Tonight

Citizens from Cypress Park and Elysian Valley are invited to attend a meeting with representatives from MetroLink on Oct. 19, sponsored by Assemblyman Gilbert Cedillo (D-Los Angeles).

This is an opportunity for citizens in the area to express concerns and ask questions about the MetroLink Central Maintenance Facility and related noise and air pollutions issues.

Conrado Terrazas--Senior Field Representative for Assembly member Gilbert Cedillo-- is currently putting this meeting together for area residents.

Metrolink Chief of Operation Dennis Marzec has agreed to attend this meeting due to the concerns of some loca citizens.

South Coast Air Quality Management District representatives will also be on hand to discuss pollution matters.

This meeting is Oct. 19 at the Dickerson Employee Benefit Center, 1918 Riverside Drive Los Angeles 90039 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
