
The Highland Park Ebell Club will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 17 from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at 131 S. Ave. 57.
Tuesday's guest Speaker is Courtney Mykytyn and she will be speaking about the dual language program at and her efforts as a parent in the creation of the program four years ago.
Mykytyn completed her undergraduate degree in biological sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She holds a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology at the University of Southern California. She focuses on medicine, aging and science and her dissertation, entitled “Executing Aging: An Ethnography of Anti-Aging Medicine” examines the anti-aging medicine movement in the United States. She is currently a lecturer in the department of anthropology at USC.
