Woman Taking Photo Struck By Metro Train

She was transported to a hospital Friday night.

LOS ANGELES – A woman who was trying to take a picture was struck by a Metro Gold Line train when she got too close to the tracks in Boyle Heights Friday night, suffering non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said
The accident at 1149 E. First St. was reported about 10:10 p.m., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.

No one on the train was injured, Humphrey said.
