1 in Custody, Hollywood Lot Locked Down After Gun Reported
Sunset Bronson Studios, in the 5800 block of West Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, is home to both Netflix and TV station KTLA.
HOLLYWOOD, CA -- A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with that report of a person with a gun at Sunset Bronson Studios in the 5800 block of West Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, according to reports from the scene.
Sunset Bronson, which is home both Netflix and local TV station KTLA, was placed on lockdown during the incident.
Netflix headquarters at the lot was placed on lockdown, as were KTLA's studios. In a statement, Netflix said officials “received a tip about a potential law enforcement incident. Police are conducting a sweep of the lot out of an abundance of caution. There is no immediate danger or threat to our employees.”

According to a KTLA report, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im said police received “second hand” information about a person who was armed. Later, Im said a person was in custody. He wasn’t sure where the suspect was detained, but said police did a “followup” several blocks away in the 5600 block of Franklin Avenue.
Sunset Bronson Studios is located near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue. Employees were not allowed to leave the area after the reported incident, nor were others allowed on the studio amid the investigation.
