Daytime Santa Monica Boulevard Stabbing Caught On Video: LAPD
Police are searching for a man wanted for stabbing a woman in broad daylight earlier this month.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Police on Wednesday asked of the public's help identifying a man wanted for stabbing a woman on an East Hollywood street in broad daylight, in an attack that was caught on video.
The stabbing occurred at around noon on Jan. 18 near Santa Monica Boulevard and Edgemont Street, just west of the Vermont/Santa Monica Metro station, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect approached from behind a woman who was walking with two other people. He stabbed her and then fled east on Santa Monica Boulevard to the Metro station, police said.\

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of an injury that was described as non-life-threatening, police said.
The suspect is described as about 30 years ago, 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, polcie said.
