Decomposing Body Found In Towed Car Registered To Popular Singer: Report
The singer is set to perform at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles later this month.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A car that was found with human remains inside at a Hollywood tow yard is registered to the popular singer D4vd, according to a report.
Officers responded around 12:20 p.m. Monday to the 1000 block of North Mansfield Avenue, just south of Santa Monica Boulevard, following multiple complaints about a foul odor coming from a car. Police located the remains inside, police said.
"We were notified this morning, and the car's been here for a couple of days," LAPD Capt. Robert Peters said Monday.

The body was in such an advanced state of decomposition, authorities were not able to immediately determine the person's gender, KTLA reported.
The body was found wrapped in plastic and placed in the Tesla's front trunk, the New York Post reported.

The car was towed from the Hollywood Hills after it was reported abandoned nearly a week ago, KTLA reported.
The car is registered in Hempstead, Texas to David Anthony Burke, who goes by D4vd, TMZ reported.

The 20-year-old artist has 33.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, making him the 146th most popular artist worldwide on the platform. His debut album peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 album chart earlier this year.
Burke is currently on tour and set to perform in Minneapolis Tuesday night at at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Sept. 20.
