Graphic Donald Trump Audio: When You're A Star, You Can Do Anything To Women

Trump comments about sex, kissing, and groping - if not attacking - women bring swift condemnation from Republican colleagues.

In a taped conversation of Donald Trump leaked Friday, the GOP nominee describes in graphically vulgar terms — even when up against his known history of crass language — about how he tried to have sex with a married women and how stardom affords him the privilege to kiss, grope and have sex with women whenever he pleases. The conversation occurred in 2005, shortly into his marriage with his current wife, Melania.

The comments - charitably described as vulgar - brought swift condemnation from Trump's Republican colleagues.

"I am sickened by what I heard today," said Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, who was supposed to appear at a rally with Trunp on Saturday. Ryan said that Trump will no longer be appearing at the event.

"Women are to be championed and revered, not objectified," Ryan said. "I hope Mr. Trump treats this situation with the seriousness it deserves and works to demonstrate to the country that he has greater respect for women than this clip suggests."

On the recording, obtained and published by the Washington Post, Trump is speaking with "Access Hollywood" host Billy Bush before visiting the set of "Days of Our Lives," where Trump was making a guest appearance. (Billy Bush is the cousin of Jeb and George W. Bush.)

The three-minute tape begins with Trump talking to Billy Bush about an unnamed married woman who he tried to have sex with — and failed.

“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Trump says.

“I did try and f--- her. She was married,” Trump says.

“And I moved on her very heavily," he continued. "In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’

“I moved on her like a b----, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married,” Trump says. “Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony t--- and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”

Later in the video, Trump and Bush seem to notice Arianne Zucker, the actress who is to escort Trump to the set.

“Your girl’s hot as s---, in the purple,” says Bush, who’s now a co-host of NBC’s “Today” show.

“Whoa!” Trump says. “Whoa!”

“I’ve gotta use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says. “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.

"And when you’re a star they let you do it,” Trump continues. “You can do anything.”

“Whatever you want,” Bush says.

“Grab them by the p---y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

Shortly after Trump says that, they get out of the bus and meet Zucker, who takes them inside the studio.

The leaked audio comes as Trump is struggling to court women voters, especially white women, a group Mitt Romney won by 14 points in 2012. The two are polling almost dead even among white women, according to a recent Quinnipiac poll, and Clinton leads Trump by 20 points among all women.

The Associated Press reports that Trump's running mate, Mike Pence, was "beside himself" when he heard the comments and Pence's wife was "furious."

On Saturday, Pence released the following statement:

Melania Trump released a statement Saturday saying the words her husband used are unacceptable and offensive. She said she has accepted his apology and hopes that others will as well.

In a statement to the Post, Trump sort of apologized and dismissed the conversation as "locker room banter."

"This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago," Trump said in the statement. He would have been 58 or 59 years old at the time.

"Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended."

He then released a second statement that was more of a direct apology.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Preibus condemned the remarks.

'No woman should ever be described in these terms or talked about in this manner," he said. "Ever."

Hillary Clinton immediately took to Twitter to respond.

Talking to reporters in Nevada, Clinton's running mate, Tim Kaine, said the tape "makes me sick to my stomach. This is behavior that is just outrageous.”

The release of the 2005 recording is likely to undo whatever damage control Trump's running mate, Mike Pence, was able to perform at Monday night's presidential debate.

Kaine, during the entire 90-minute sitdown, made a point to constantly hammer Pence on Trump's many outrageous comments on the campaign trail and beyond, especially his comments about women. Pence regularly shook his head and instead sought to shift focus to campaign issues and Hillary Clinton's record.

Now, that's as good as a distant memory, especially with the second presidential debate coming up against Clinton on Sunday night.

Trump also said Friday that he still thinks the Central Park 5 — five black and Latino teenagers who were wrongly accused of raping and beating a jogger — were guilty and should be punished.
