Fire Breaks Out At Hollywood Apartment Building

A fire broke out at a Hollywood apartment building Tuesday night.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out at a two-story apartment building Tuesday night.

The fire was reported before 9 p.m. at 1732 N. Whitley Ave., north of Hollywood Boulevard.

It took 36 firefighters about 17 minutes to knock down the fire, which was in a second-floor unit of the building, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
