Hollywood Christmas Parade Street Closures Headed Your Way
The 87th annual Hollywood Christmas Parade will ring in the holiday season Sunday.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — The 87th annual Hollywood Christmas Parade will make its way through Tinseltown on Sunday, ringing in the holiday season but also bringing with it an array of street restrictions.
People planning to attend the parade -- which begins with a concert at 5 p.m. Sunday followed by the procession at 6 p.m. -- are being urged to take public transportation to get into Hollywood, given the large crowds and likely shortage of parking.
Some street closures will begin as early as Saturday morning, so getting in and around Hollywood will be a challenge for motorists whether they are going to the parade or not.

Parking restrictions will be tightly enforced, with vehicles being cited or impounded. Vehicles that are impounded will be taken to the tow yard at 1015 N. Mansfield Ave.
The parade, with grand marshal Nancy O'Dell, will travel on a 3.2-mile route beginning at Hollywood Boulevard and Orange Drive, moving east on Hollywood, south on Vine Street and west on Sunset Boulevard back to Orange.
