Hollywood Hills Home Robbers Take $1M In Items: Police
Hollywood Hills residents were awoken to yelling and a gun pointed at them early Wednesday morning.
HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA — Multiple people took around $1 million worth of items from a Hollywood Hills home early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Multiple suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department. One man was pistol whipped during the robbery but refused medical treatment, Madison said. It was not clear whether the man was injured.
Authorities responded to a home invasion around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 3500 block of Multiview Drive, according to Madison. According to the LAPD, a man and a woman were in the home at the time.

"They had a gun, obviously, a couple of guns that they had; and I was still asleep, basically, when they came in," Atta said. "And that's just where it went; guns and hands were thrown and all that good stuff."
Atta said he was unsure if he was targeted based on his online postings.
"I am an influencer," he said. "I know what comes with it ... I guess maybe they noticed me, they went about it, handled their business; or it could have been something random. You never know, nowadays."
Neighbors told reporters the house is a rental property. The suspects reportedly fled with expensive watches and jewelry.
