LAPD Motorcycle Officer Seriously Hurt In Crash
A Los Angeles Police Officer suffered serious injuries in a crash, and one person was detained at the scene.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer was seriously injured Thursday evening in a crash in the Mid-City area.
The crash occurred at 10:10 p.m. near the intersection of Arlington Avenue and 27th Street, according to Officer Rosario Herrera of the LAPD's Media Relations Division.
The injured officer was taken to a hospital in serious condition, KCAL9 reported.

One person was being detained by officers at the scene, Herrera said.
