Schwarzenegger does not plan on pursuing charges. The statement said he views the episode as an "unfortunate incident by a mischevious fan."
"Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot," Schwarzenegger wrote on Twitter. "I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat."
The video shows the man jump up and kick Schwarzenegger in the back and while Schwarzenegger is jerked forward, he remains standing and seems unphased.
And if you have to share the video (I get it), pick a blurry one without whatever he was yelling so he doesn’t get the spotlight. By the way... block or charge? pic.twitter.com/TEmFRCZPEA

He also encouraged fans to share videos of the athletes competing in the event and not of the kicker.
He suggested that if people do want to share a video of the incident, they choose a blurry one so the offender doesn't get the spotlight.
The man was apprehended by security and then handed over to police.
