Water Main Rupture Sends Water Rushing onto Hollywood Streets
Department of Water and Power crews took at least two hours to close the main.

A water main ruptured at Highland Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood today.
The 12-inch main broke about 4 p.m. and water gushed, closing the intersection to traffic.
Department of Water and Power crews took at least two hours to close the main. Work to repair the damage is expected to cause closure of the intersection until early Tuesday.
