Zankou Chicken Now Open on Sunset Blvd.
The opening marks the ninth Southern California location for the Mediterranean eatery.
Zankou Chicken has landed in Hollywood.
It's hard to miss the two grand opening banners featured prominently outside the new Mediterranean eatery near Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue. This marks the chain's ninth location.
The space is a former Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant that has been updated with a mosaic tiled serving counter and modern fixtures. There's also a side patio with tables and umbrellas. It's easy to access with a number of parking spaces in the back.

The eatery—serving kabobs, shawerma and falafel—held its grand opening on July 27. Check their website for a peek at the menu.
Zankou Chicken is located at 7851 Sunset Blvd. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., open daily. Phone: 323-882-6365.
