5 Injured When Helicopter Crashes In Huntington Beach: Authorities

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Five people have been hospitalized after a helicopter crashed along the Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach on Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 2:10 p.m. when a helicopter descended toward the street and then suddenly dropped and crashed near the Cars 'N Copters on the Coast event site in front of the Waterfront Beach Resort, KTLA 5 is reporting.

Three people, who were in the street, were injured and taken to the hospital in the collision. Two people on board the helicopter were also injured and have been hospitalized, according to CBS News.
