This OC City Considering 'MAGA' Plaque For Library
Community members took to Reddit to discuss the proposed plaque, with some calling it "wasteful and pointless" and "ugly."

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A proposed plaque design to commemorate the Huntington Beach Public Library’s 50th anniversary features a familiar acronym.
In addition to the year, the city and library logos, and the names of city leaders, the design includes an acrostic made up of the words "magical," "alluring," "galvanizing" and "adventurous," with the first letter of each word capitalized and in bold to emphasize four letters: MAGA.
MAGA is widely known as the acronym for President Donald Trump’s campaign slogan: Make America Great Again.
