• State Supreme Court denies HB's request for housing suit review - Hey SoCal. Change is our intention. (heysocal.com) — Huntington Beach has lost another major round in its long-running fight against California’s housing mandates, after the state Supreme Court refused to review an appellate ruling ordering the city to comply. State leaders say the city must quickly adopt a compliant housing plan, while criticizing officials for spending public money resisting new homes instead of addressing affordability and homelessness.
