South County Economic Development Summit Offers Comprehensive Outlook on San Diego's South Bay Region

The 22nd Annual Economic Development Summit will give attendees insight into bi-national business and economic forecasts

WHAT: The Annual SCEDC Summit brings together some of the most influential minds from the San Diego and Baja regions to offer attendees an economic outlook and updates on the South Bay and Baja regional development. The Summit offers attendees the most comprehensive report on what is happening in San Diego’s South Bay.

There will be a panel discussion with elected officials on the future of the South County bi-national region and a presentation on cross-border trade, in addition to recognizing outstanding South Bay community members for their contributions and milestones to the advancement of the region. The keynote speaker is Ben Stein, a prominent actor, author and economic analyst, who will discuss current economic trends and how they relate to the San Diego and South Bay regions.

The event is open to the public, and registration closes on Thursday, Sept. 20.
