Surf Town Triathlon and Duathlon Sunday

Bike, run, swim and enjoy the scenary of IB at the Surf Town Triathlon and Duathlon.

Race starts and ends at Pier Plaza.

Duathlon starts at 7 a.m. and triathlon at 7:10 a.m.

Mandatory pre-race expo 12-4 p.m. or pay $10 fee to pick up bib and check-in morning of race.

Awards will be given out at 10 a.m.

Imperial Beach Boulevard westbound will be closed to traffic from 5-11 a.m.

Prior to the event, cars parked on the following streets will be towed:

- Seacoast Drive from 5 a.m. to noon;

- Imperial Beach Boulevard westbound from 5-11 a.m. between Seacoast Drive and 5th Street;

- Carnation Avenue from 5-11 a.m;

- 5th Street from 5-9 a.m.

- A portion of Silver Strand Boulevard

- Iris Avenue from 5th Street to Connecticut Street from 5-9 a.m.
