The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Imperial Beach substation reported the following arrests and crimes from Feb. 5-11. If you see a crime, please report it to the Sheriff's Department.

Feb. 11

10:37 p.m., vandalism reported in the 1300 block of Holly Avenue. Damage to structure worth an estimated $700


Feb. 10

4:45 p.m., 46- and 54-year-old men arrested for being drunk in public in the 100 block of Evergreen Avenue


Feb. 9

11:34 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 600 block of Seacoast Drive. Stolen vehicle worth an estimated $5,000

3:19 p.m., 39-year-old woman cited and released for shoplifting at Goodwill in the 800 block of Palm Avenue. Clothing reported stolen worth an estimated $25

9:29 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 200 block of Daisy Avenue. Camera, watch, cell phone and other items reported stolen worth an estimated $1,675


Feb. 8

1:47 a.m., vehicle vandalism reported in the 1100 block of Oneonta Avenue

2:04 a.m., 21-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs causing injury in the 1100 block of Oneonta Avenue

3:38 p.m., residential burglary reported in the 1000 block of Calla Avenue


Feb. 7

12:25 a.m., vehicle theft reported in the 1000 block of Calla Avenue. Stolen vehicle worth an estimated $8,000

9:16 a.m., identity theft case reported in the 700 block of 8th Street

2:05 p.m., petty theft from vehicle reported in the 300 block of Caspian Way. Portable music device,  flashlight and electronic component reported stolen worth an estimated $142


Feb. 6

12:32 p.m., license plate reported stolen in the 100 block of Ebony Avenue

12:40 p.m., vehicle vandalism reported in the 500 block of 10th Street

3:40 p.m., homicide at sheriff's substation at 845 Imperial Beach Blvd. Marvin Duncan pleaded not guilty to a first degree murder charge Feb. 8.


Feb. 5

2:41 p.m., 27-year-old man arrested for commercial burglary, forgery of false checks and intent to defraud at The Check Cashing Place on 10th Street. Actual offense took place in the 800 block of Palm Avenue

7:00 p.m., 85-year-old man cited for hit and run with property damage to pickup truck at the corner of Fern Avenue and 11th Street

Feb. 4

9:40 p.m., 42-year-old man arrested for the use or being under the influence of controlled substances in the 1400 block of 13th Street


Feb. 3

8:09 p.m., 48-year-old woman arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving while license is suspended or revoked in the 1000 block of Hemlock Avenue

Feb. 1

10:44 p.m., robbery reported in the 500 block of 7th Street, with $25 in currency reported stolen

 

Jan. 11

8:19 a.m., 25-year-old woman cited for obstruction or resisting an emergency medical technician or peace officer at the corner of 9th Street and Palm Avenue
