City Of La Cañada Flintridge: National Emergency Alert Systems Test

August 10th, 2021

FEMA, in partnership with the FCC, will conduct an Emergency Alert System test (through television and radio) and Wireless Emergency Alert (through mobile devices) on Wednesday, August 11th at 11:20 PST.

Only phones that have opted in to receive system test messages will display the test message, which will read: “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.”
