LCHS Students to Showcase Institute Projects
The 21st Century Institutes program is an adventure in real world environments with experienced business and professional mentors acting as guides for the students.

annual Showcase for the 21st Century Institutes will be held Thursday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
The Institutes program is an innovative program designed to help young people acquire essential life skills, according to LCHS's registration handbook. It's an adventure in real world environments solving social, scientific, and business problems with experienced business and professional mentors acting as guides.
Students who participate in an Institute will share their acquired knowledge and experiences with all who attend.

New this year are students who will exhibit Independent Projects they created, as well as share the outcomes of their time and effort, PTA president Susan Dodge wrote in an email announcement.
In addition, students who take classes through the Regional Occupational Program (Culinary Arts, Media Arts, Photography, Graphic Design, Sports Medicine and Retail Marketing) will be on hand to share a variety of their projects.

This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about these programs for students who might be interested in participating in the upcoming school year, Dodge said.
