Wrongway Driver Arrested in Grand Theft Auto Case
A Northern California man was arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen car after authorities allegedly spotted his erratic driving near LCUSD.

A man deputies say ran a red light and drove on the wrong side of the road was allegedly driving a stolen car, authorities said.
Deputies pulled over Matthew Decker, 25, of Pollock Pines at 10:30 p.m. Friday after they spotted him driving recklessly at Foothill Boulevard and Cornishon Avenue, Sgt. Ray Harley said Monday.
The reckless driving included failing to stop for a red light and driving on the wrong side of the roadway, he added. When deputies ran the license plate, they discovered the 1988 Chevrolet Cavalier was reported stolen a day earlier by the California Highway Patrol in Placerville.

Decker was arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle and reckless driving. He was booked at Crescenta Valley Station, where he is being held on $25,000 bail.
