44 Pounds Of Fentanyl Recovered Thanks To Laguna Beach K9
A collaboration between the Laguna Beach and Costa Mesa police departments removed over 20 kilograms of fentanyl off the streets.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Over 44 pounds of fentanyl was removed from south Orange County streets, thanks to a multi-agency operation that took place this month.
The operation was carried out by K9 Sirius and his handler Officer Brendan Rowland of the LBPD, as well as the Costa Mesa Police Department and the California Highway Patrol.
"This outstanding effort showcases the power of teamwork and inter-agency cooperation," a City of Laguna Beach news release said. "A special thank you to the Costa Mesa Police Department for allowing us to assist in this critical operation."
