Dramatic Video Shows Cliffside Rescue In Laguna Beach: OCFA

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A person who found themselves stranded on a Laguna Beach cliffside was rescued Monday afternoon, the Orange County Fire Department reported.

Laguna Beach authorities responded to the scene Monday afternoon off the coast of Laguna Beach, where they found a person stuck in the cliffs.

The person was airlifted to safety with the help of the Laguna Beach Fire Department, Laguna Beach Police Department, Laguna Beach Marine Safety, Newport Beach Fire and the Orange County Fire Department. Their name and current status was not immediately available.

"This dramatic cliffside rescue is a testament to the power of collaboration among safety partners and is just one of the many life-saving missions OCFA Air Operations undertakes," an OCFA statement read.
