Laguna Beach City OKs New Eatery In Downtown Area

Members of the city's planning commission approved a new fast-casual eatery in Laguna Beach's downtown area.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A new eatery is on its way to Laguna Beach, after members of the city's planning commission voted to approve a conditional use permit for new fast-casual restaurant, Laguna Fish Company.

The Laguna Fish Company is set to open within the Heisler Building in the downtown area, located at 400-424 S. Coast Highway. The street-front space has been vacant since November 2019, and was previously occupied by Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar and store.

According to a city staff report, Laguna Fish Company would offer fast-casual dining with a full selection of alcohol and retail space. It was not immediately clear when construction on the new eatery would begin.
