Laguna Beach Summer Trolley Is Still The Best Way To Travel Into Town
Summer is in full swing, and those in the know take the trolley when they go. Check out routes and how long you'll have to wait to hop on

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The City of Laguna Beach's Summer Trolley Routes have four routes: Canyon, Long Coastal, Short Coastal, and Summer Breeze, allowing residents to get to just about anywhere they need to go in the city without parking woes.
Service is set to continue through September 6, according to the website. Each trolley will be outfitted with a hand sanitizing station, and the fleet will be cleaned and disinfected daily.
The Trolley's Coastal Route Service runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., seven days a week. Service is along Coast Highway between North Laguna/ Heisler Park, downtown, South Laguna/ Mission Hospital, and Ritz Carlton in Dana Point. Catch a Coastal Route trolley about every 20 to 40 minutes, and don't forget to pack your patience!

If you're taking the Trolley's Canyon Route, you can catch that from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., seven days a week. Service runs along Laguna Canyon Road from LCAD and Act V peripheral parking lots to summer art festivals and downtown. You can expect to wait for the Canyon Route Trolley anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes.
The Summer Breeze route gets visitors from out of town into town, getting you to the art festivals or downtown beach and shopping district in Laguna Beach. Starting at the free peripheral lot in Irvine, located at 16344 Laguna Canyon Road, hop on the Summer Breeze Trolley into Laguna Beach from noon to 11:30 p.m. on Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Expect to wait 30 minutes for the Summer Breeze free trolley service.
